This is the last book of the Percy Jackson and The Olympians Series.When Percy turns 16 his father tells Chiron to tell him the Great Prophecy.Gods are fighting Typhon and Oscaneous(spelling!!) are attacking his father kingdom.Typhon was supposed to be a distraction because kornos was aiming for Olympus.Luke gave up his life to save Olympus and to kill kornos.The cursed blade was Annabeth's knife which killed kornos/Luke.

Then the new series starts named The Heroes Of Olympus.
