Honestly, I wasn't sure what to expect from this flick and it is undeed a rather unknown movie starring Pierce Brosnan and directed by the great Richard Attenborough but I thought I should give it a try. Honestly, I thought it was a very interesting story but I'm not sure if Pierce Brosnan was really the best choice for this character. I mean, at the end of the movie, you understand why they picked him but I can't help thinking that, with another actor, it would have worked better. Still, there are some interesting thoughts about the conflict between Modern life and Alternative ways of living, and also about the struggle about finding your own identity. When the whole thing ends, I have to admit it, it turns out to be one helll of a true story, too preposterous to be fictional but, somehow, they never really managed to exploit its full potential. Anyway, I thought it was an intriguing true story and it is definitely worth a look, especially if you want to see Pierce Brosnan in something completely different.
