During the 90's and the 2000's, Eddie Murphy was honestly involved most of the time in worthless movies so I wasn't expecting much from this flick. Eventually, it was not bad at all. Actually, for once, Eddie Murphy gives a sober performance as a straight guy, instead of the foul-mouthed hysterical characters he usually plays. This time the main attraction were actually the talking animals which were most of the time pretty funny. To conclude, it is nothing mind-blowing whatsoever and the plot is definitely ridiculous but it remains a funny and entertaining mainstream feature.
