A disappointing movie

It is probably the most disappointing movie I have seen which was released in 2009. I really loved 'Borat', much more than I expected so this time, I had rather high expectations. Unfortunately, this flick never reaches 'Borat' level... There are sure some funny scenes and the movie has some good sharp moments but the lead character is just so obnoxious, it makes the whole movie just painful to watch. Whereas underneath its vulgarity, I thought 'Borat' was pretty deep, this flick is just completely shallow. Still, it is far from being a bad movie and it is still worth a look, especially if you are interested in Sacha Baron Cohen's work.

Compared to Borat, yeah this one's a disappointment. I felt like it tried too hard to copy what Borat did & therefore while it's funny there's nothing original about it & it's got a very been-there-done-that feel to it. It's still entertaining though.
