Since 'The Matrix' is such a huge classic, I'm actually quite surprised that this flick is not really well known. To be honest, I have never been a huge fan of 'The Matrix' but since I came accross this movie on DVD, I thought I should give it a try. Eventually, even though it might seem surprising, it turned out to be my favorite movie in this franchise. Indeed, first of all, the animation was just really impressive. Basically, they used different animation techniques, it made the whole thing rather experimenting and, to me, very fascinating to watch. Eventually, not all the stories were all amazing but I thought they all had something interesting to say. I especially loved the story explaining what happened between the humans and the robots. In my opinion, that was one of the biggest problems with this franchise, the fact that they keep trying to explain non-sense with even more non-sense. Since we were dealing here with some short stories, they didn't have this problem here and it resulted in a much more compelling watching experience. To conclude, I think it was actually a successful experiment and if you love 'The Matrix', it is definitely a must-see and if you're a not fan (like me), it is still definitely worth a look.
