Phantom of the Opera (1943) - The lair scene

Rains & Susanna Foster are stunning. I just wish they hadn't altered the story so much. I would have loved to see Rains play a more insightful Phantom and a more vindictive, like the Herbert Lom one. Or see him play the Leroux's original Phantom. Like I said, Rains is loveable though. "Sing, Christine! Sing!" No copyright infringement intended.
