The Way I Feel written by Johnny Parker performed by Clyde McPhatter & The Drifters recorded 9 August 1953 issued in September 1953 as Atlantic 45-1006 This set of Drifters are Clyde McPhatter (lead), Bill Pinkney (top tenor), Andrew "Bubba" Thrasher (second tenor), Gerhart "Gay" Thrasher (baritone), Willie Ferbie (bass) and guitarist Walter Adams. This was the first Drifters record ever issued.
