One of Chris Morris's earliest and longest running characters, Wayne Carr was a biting parody of local radio DJs, in the same vein as Harry Enfield and Paul Whitehouse's famous Smashie and Nicey characters. Broadcast on Morris' Radio Bristol show 'No Known Cure' on Saturday 25th June 1989. First of two sketches broadcast that day.
