One of Chris Morris's earliest and longest running characters, Wayne Carr was a biting parody of local radio DJs, in the same vein as Harry Enfield and Paul Whitehouse's famous Smashie and Nicey characters. Broadcast on Morris' GLR show on Sunday 5th August 1990. First of two sketches broadcast that day.
