Princess Ida - This Helmet I Suppose

Princess Ida from Houston Gilbert and Sullivan's 2003 performance. Features Martin Poock in what he *thought* was going to be his final performance with Houston G&S. He "embellished" the already Handel-esque aria with a few more frilly bits. This was totally to the surpise of the company and the Musical Director. He pulled it off and we the company kept going. Martin was back the next year as PoohBah and oddly didn't stray off book at all. :)
