Three paintings exploring the textures of wood and water. Sometimes it's important to step outside your comfort zone, and paint something you've never done before. Water is something I had been afraid of, so it was time I took the plunge (no pun intended!). Each painting takes between 30 and 165 hours to complete, using a minute brush with only a few hairs.
