Description

Here's a couple of more recent watercolour paintings. As the title suggests, I really enjoy adding touches of red to paintings. It's a lovely contrast to the green-grey of Australian gum leaves. The Painted Finches took 165 hours (and 2 years!) to complete: my longest work to date. And it was my first attempt at painting rocks. All works are painted on conservation board. NO digital retouching used, other than the sharpen filter.
