Bird Paintings by Frances McMahon (video 1)

Description

Here's a few of my watercolour bird illustrations painted between 2000-2002. Each painting takes between 30 and 165 hours to complete, and some details are so fine, they may only be seen with a magnifying glass. I've shown the complete picture, followed by three 'slides' showing some of the details. I've been painting since the age of 5, am completely self-taught, and specialise in Australian native birds.
