Description

Mermaids" was Johnny Weissmuller's sixth RKO film, and his twelfth as Tarzan. It was directed by Robert Florey in 1948 and also starred Brenda Joyce as Jane; Linda Christian as Mara; George Zucco as Palanth; John Laurenz as Benji; and Fernando Wagner as Varga. This clip was taken from a documentary called "Tarzan at the Movies" (1996) and the enjoyment of the trailer is marred by the narrator's commentary.
