. Corby among others. McQueen's character Reese is one of the toughest there ever was, and he shows here that he is far from inferior to the likes of Eastwood's Lt. Morris Schaffer in "Where Eagles Dare". Not only is he tough, but also complex. All in all, this is a great film by a very underrated director, Don Siegel. I recommend this highly.
