Lucio Fulci, king of ultra-gory Italian horror created the uncompromising 'l'Aldila', with the added help, of course, of Fabio Frizzi. The two had worked together before, and again it's a winning formula. 'The Beyond' is horror at it's bluntest, however, that does not mean it's short on atmosphere.
