When Cliff Richard started out in the 50's his band the Shadows was still called the Drifters.
Due to the fact that there already was a hitchart topping band (Save The Last Dance For Me, Up On The Roof, This Magic Moment, etc.) going by the same name in the USA years earlier, Cliff's band changed their name into the Shadows.
