(1971) Ruth Copeland is an important missing chapter in the history of Parliament-Funkadelic. In the early 70's she co-wrote, sang, recorded, and performed with them. Such staples as "Come In Out of the Rain" and "The Breakdown" came from her pen. Also, many of the support vocals on the first Parliament album, "Osmium" (1970), are Ruth's.
