Richard Alan Clark (born 1951) was a US government employee for 30 years, 1973 - 2003. He worked for the State Department during the presidency of Ronald Reagan.[2] Following the presidency of George HW Bush, Bill Clinton promoted Clarke to be the chief counter-terrorism adviser on the US National Security Council.
