Caravan an Ellington classic by Juan Tizol and Ellington from 1937; one of the first major big band hits to feature a hard driving latin rhythm, predating the Dizzy Gillespie latin hits of the 1940's. This piece is also popular in jam sessions, but rarely heard on solo piano. Needless to say, Hession hears the whole band in his head which leads to the solo rendition with latin rhythm on rhythm implied....
