LEXINGTON, Ky. -- Lawyer Ron, the champion older male of 2007, has died at age 6 after complications from colic surgery. The Stonewall Stallions resident was euthanized late Friday, according to an announcement issued Saturday afternoon by the farm. Lawyer Ron, named for Kentucky attorney Ron Bamberger, had undergone what Bamberger had termed "very minor surgery" in mid-May to correct a rupture in his abdominal sac.
