The free central park concert from 1980 which so many people attended in hopes John Lennon would show up however no such luck. My mother who actually attended Woodstock also attended this concert and said that people were hanging from trees. It is guessed somewhere between 400 and 425 thousand people showed up for in my opinion Sir Elton Johns greatest concert of all time.
