Pat Brady, newly elected chairman of the Illinois Republican Party, spoke to reporters during the Republican Day rally on the director's lawn at the Illinois State Fair Thursday, Aug. 20, 2009. Brady talked briefly about his background, his work for former US senator and presidential candidate John McCain, the state of the Illinois GOP and which races he thinks the party will win in Illinois in the upcoming election.
