This song is about losing someone you love, and unfortunately I know how that feels. Before this happened in 2006, I already noticed the beauty of both the music and the lyrics. The original piece is from Buddy and Julie Miller (they also wrote masterpieces like "Dangerous Place"), but it was also covered by Ilse de Lange, after which it became well-known in the Netherlands.
