Bill Donovan: high-fiving guy with the gruff exterior and the soft heart

The late Bill Donovan was much loved at the South Shore YMCA in Quincy. After the volunteer died July 5 at age 75, the Y members and staff donated more than $5200 in his memory. Some $3000 of the Bill Donovan Memorial Fund will help send children to the Y's summer camp.
