Description
An 8mm film taken by Anthony Weir (www.auban.eu) with a Paillard-Bolex single-lens camera. This somewhat frayed and shortened movie shows the old Smithfield flea-market, the Friday open-air market, the Carrick Hill area, the docks and the Newtownards Road some 5 years before the People's Democracy peaceful demonstrations led to ruling-class lackeys' violence, and hence to 'The Troubles'.
