I was prowling around the grounds of Trinity Church in Manhattan a while back and came across a little cherub head set in an old stone arch. A little plaque said that it was a gift from the citizens of London to the parishioners of Trinity Church. I thought to myself, "Hey-- a little bit of London in old New York." Later on when I was writing this song, I thought of a lot of other examples-- Gramercy Park, etc. www.myspace.com
