Released July 20, 1935. Jackie Morrow, radio sensation of WSUN Tampa Bay, is Buddy, with Bernice Hansen (possibly the real name of actress Dorothy Varden) as Cookie and the Gamble's Soup girl. Chuck Jones and Bob Clampett are animating under the far inferior Jack King. Opening theme is "About a Quarter to Nine" from 42nd Street, and we get the Al Jolson-Buddy DeSylva song "Avalon." ...
