Sean Sullivan - Drum Competition Solo 2009

Description

Sean Sullivan was the first place place winner of the "Best of the Best" 2009 Drum Circuit Drum Competition. This was the 20th anniversary of the DCDC and all previous winners were invited to compete against each other for the title of "Best of the Best". In this solo Sean opens with the Miles Davis classic Freddie Freeloader, played in a 7/8 samba feel, with the melody played on the orchestra bells left of the kit.
