Playwright and filmmaker Luis Valdez the founder of Chicano theater and director of La Bamba speaks about marijuana. He discusses how it became illegal in the US and mentions that his grandmother used to grow it in her garden for medicinal purposes. This is a small part of a presentation he gave at Chico State during Cesar Chavez celebrations.
