In Andy Milligan's 1970 movie "Guru the Mad Monk", Neil Flanagan portrays Father Guru, who runs some kind of island religious death camp in the 15th century. Shot at the St. Peter's Presbyterian Church in Chelsea, Manhattan, sound effects were dubbed in to suggest that the action is taking place near the sea.
