Documentary from 1984. The sound level is low and the picture quality is poor, for which I apologise. In this section: - Bunuel's early life in Madrid, including his time at a Jesuit school, and at university; - Bunuel's first meetings with Lorca and Dali, and the influence they had on him; - his move to Paris in the 1920s. Includes archive footage of a Bunuel interview, and an extract from the 1902 French film, 'A Trip to the Moon'. The documentary is introduced by David Stratton....
