Description

Bunuel's 1950 film 'Los Olvidados' won first prize at Cannes, long after many in the European film industry had written him off. This section contains an extract from the film, and archive footage of Buneul discussing it, including some interview footage from the 1950s. There is also an extract from The Discreet Charm of the Bourgeoisie (1972), and an interview with the producer, Serge Silberman. Documentary from 1984; picture quality continues to be poor.
