Alexis (Joan Collins) meets her new nemesis Dominique Deveraux (Diahann Carroll). Carrol said in a 2001 "Dynasty" documentary she suggested herself for the role of Dominique Deveraux, by telling producer Aaron Spelling he needed a "black bitch" on 'Dynasty.'
