It did get a little repetitive and drawn out. (not as much as some other anime's) but the always changing and building storyline keeps Yu yu hacksho as one on my faves

"Pretty satisfying long shounen. Great fights, characters and values, and this one actually had a conclusion which seems to be a rarity in the genre now-a-days. I do admit it ended somewhat abruptly, but the last episode transmitted so much emotions and peace of mind, it was a phenomenal peaceful conclusion to a very entertaining series."
