"Yes, The Shining was made into a miniseries, and no it's not really like the 1980 film. I actually liked seeing Steven Weber from Wings flip the fuck out and lose his marbles.
Oh, and this:
Happy nightmares kid!

"Who's trapped:The Torrance family (Jack, the husband/father; Wendy, the wife/mother and little Danny, the son).
Trapped in:The Overlook Hotel in the secluded Colorado mountains.
Trapped how:A freakish snow-storm has them trapped. And the Overlook happens to be haunted, to boot.

"This was surprisingly good but it's too long and not coherent enough. Also some of the cgi-creatures looked pretty stupid and there were no real purpose for showing them. Needless to say, Kubrick's version of the story is way better than this."
