" This show was incredibly insane. It was incredibly insane when it first came out and it's still is to this day. Nicktoons today, particularly Spongebob, owes everything to Ren & Stimpy. It reinvigorated the notion that you can do whatever you want when it comes to cartoons. It was stupid, it was vulgar, it was risqué, it was crazy and sometimes quite hard to watch but you can see how much the fun it was through its insane characters and ridiculous set up."
