I miss the OC, have all dvd boxes but I want more.
It was my way of relaxing in a tough period that I went trough.

As every teen drama (and any other thing in the world), The OC has fans and haters. The haters will tell you about how the actors don't seem to be 16 years old, how boring the realtionship between Ryan and Marissa is, how the show is full of cliches about the differences between the social groups... and let me tell you something: they're right. The fans will tell you about how GREAT is the sountrack, how Seth's sarcasm can be funny, how the relationship between Summer and Seth is cute, how the show makes Newport Beach seems like the perfect place... and, again, let me tell you something: they're also right. A hilarious amalgamation of unbelievable characters who fail to convey any realistic sense of emotion or sincerity in their daily lives in the sun drenched state of California. Despite billing itself as a 'teen drama', the casting agency failed at the first hurdle when they hired fully grown men to play 17 year olds. I guess they failed again when they hired 'actors' based on aesthetics rather than acting ability too, I guess casting never was a strong point for the show. Generic troubled 'teen' is salvaged from his degenerate life and thrust into a world of glamour and wealth. At first he doesn't adapt well and he's still a loose cannon, what a shocker. I loved this show, when it was airing. It was one of the best shows, on Television. Iam disappointed, that, this show, is off the air. It was one of My Favorite Television Shows.
