Out of all the Stephen King mini-series this is the least well recieved. This had thus far dampened my excitement to see it. Some loved this film, some hate it and some think it's merely okay. I'm in the latter majority. The characters are interesting, and at first it's quite creepy, but I wonder if perhaps it wasn't such a good idea to extend the length of this one. It almost hits the three-hour mark and there's to much un-interesting talking and fighting for that to be okay. In fact, the ti"
"I watched The Langoliers on television when it came out the first time. I've watched it twice since then. It has its flaws. Spotty acting at times, and computer effects that didn't age well. However, this movie really does get saved by the manic performance of Bronson Pinchot, and a well played performance from Dean Stockwell. I wouldn't call this movie scary, but it is interesting.

Saw The Langoliers was on Netflix streaming and had to make it the first movie I watched - It is my favorite TV adaption of a Stephen King book - ten passengers aboard a plane awake to discover that"
"Who's trapped: A bunch of unrelated strangers on a commercial airplane.
Trapped in: An airplane that is slowly running out of fuel.
Trapped how: All the trapped passengers went to sleep and woke up outside the usual time-space continuum and now have to get home or somewhere before they run out of fuel or the langoliers catch up to them...
" Day 16 - Favorite mini series
I chose Lonesome Dove in my 30 days of Movies list, but this time I am going with The Langoliers - my favorite TV adaption of a Stephen King story - Bronson Pinchot is surprisingly brilliant as the demented, delusional Craig Toomey."
