"There was never a happy feeling or smile during the entire run of Texhnolyze. It is certainly one of the most depressing and gruesome stories told through this medium. It's very hard to sit through it because of this, and the fact that the story is kinda hard to follow in the beginning doesn't help. However, the dark gritty atmosphere and mysterious characters pull you in into the world of Texhnolyze, and will most definitely make an impact on you. One of those series that is not for everyone. "
