My Biased Review

All that I can really say is, that if I had my younger years to do over again, I wouldn't have wasted quite as many of them on this sort of quasi-military crap.... I mean, to meander a bit, in the in-game wiki for *Mass Effect*, they actually take the trouble to explain all of the subtle shades of difference between, "Yes, sir", and "Aye, aye, sir"-- *Sulu voice* And that's truly a vital piece of ... read more

Biggest list of Simpsons' movie references (184 movies items)

"YOLO (season 25, episode 4) The alien that Homer fights is a Gorn from the episode "Arena". White Christmas Blues (season 25, episode 8) The Man Who Came To Be Dinner (season 26, episode 10) The end credits parody Star Trek and its theme music plays. Viva Ned Flanders (season 10, episode 13) Comic Book Guy has a bumper sticker which says "I Brake For Tribbles". Tribbles are creatures which appeared several times in the original Star Trek series, debuting in the Star Trek episode "

" Star Trek is an American science fiction television series created by Gene Roddenberry that follows the adventures of the starship USS Enterprise (NCC-1701) and its crew. It later acquired the retronym of Star Trek: The Original Series (Star Trek: TOS or TOS) to distinguish the show within the media franchise that it began. The show is set in the Milky Way galaxy, roughly during the 2260s. The ship and crew are led by Captain James T. Kirk (William Shatner), first officer and science officer"

Good SF TV 60s-70s (7 tv items)

"Who can forget growing up with Star Trek? My dad watched a couple of episodes, and then I knew I'd be okay to see it, I started a long time devotion to the show. I was lucky: I got to see it in its original run, which was great. Captain Kirk was my hero, who railed against the status quo and made his own decisions, and showed us that we could always fight for a cause if we had to. "

"Scotty, I need more power. Captain, that's all she's got , if I push her (the ship) any harder, she'll come apart. Spock: Let me try captain, moving Dr. McCoy aside. I can make the evaluation on a purely rational basis whereas the Dr has the distinct disadvantage of being human and is too emotional. McCoy: Captain, get this poiny eared , devil looking freak out of my way.... Jim: Enough both of you or I sick the furbees on you. (HeHe)"

Favorite TV Series - Drama (34 tv items)

"Beyond the mystique and now-cheesy special effects and rubber monsters, Star Trek holds up close to 50 years later due to Gene Roddenberry's forward-thinking stories and some brilliant character dynamics featuring Kirk's impassioned impulses, Spock's cool logic, and Bones McCoy caught in the middle."

I mean, to meander a bit, in the in-game wiki for *Mass Effect*, they actually take the trouble to explain all of the subtle shades of difference between, "Yes, sir", and "Aye, aye, sir"-- *Sulu voice* And that's truly a vital piece of information for any young man to consider, no matter what his field of endeavor. Consider real estate, for example. When closing the deal, do you say.... *Spock voice* And one must always be absolutely certain to maintain a grim demeanor of detachment during even the most jovial of social circumstances. (So say we all.)

And, after reading Takei's (the Sulu actor's) book, it is kinda funn” read more
