This is one of those shows that I keep wanting to see. There's something about Zack Braff that's funny, especially on this show. From the weird fantasy sequences to the even weirder relationships they all have, it's worth watching.
I thought the first five series of Scrubs were absolutely golden. The last series has been a little more inconsistent, but has still provided some top laughs. I think the thing about Scrubs is that it doesn't always make you laugh, but it's still extremely entertaining anyway and it continually makes you want to keep watching.
Everybody loves J.D. I heard that the seventh series wi... read more

The series, which follows the lives of employees at the fictional Sacred Heart teaching hospital, was created by Bill Lawrence. The title is a play on surgical scrubs and a term for a low-ranking person because at the beginning of the series, most of the main characters were medical interns. The series features fast-paced screenplay, slapstick, and surreal vignettes presented mostly as the daydreams of the central character, Dr. John "J.D." Dorian, who is played by Zach Braff. Actors starring alongside Braff in the first eight seasons included Sarah Chalke, Donald Faison, Neil Flynn, Ken Jenkins, John C. McGinley and Judy Reyes. The series has also featured multiple guest appearances by film actors, such as Brendan Fraser, Heather Graham, and Colin Farrell. In the ninth season, many new cast members were introduced and the show setting moved from a hospital to a medical school. Out of the original cast, only Braff, Faison and McGinley became regular cast members, while the others with the exception of Reyes, made guest appearances. Braff appeared in six episodes of the ninth season before departing. Kerry Bishé, Eliza Coupe, Dave Franco and Michael Mosley became series regulars with Bishé becoming the show's new narrator. Scrubs premiered on October 2, 2001 on NBC. The show received a Peabody Award in 2006 for "fearlessly smashing traditional comic formulas, all the while respecting the deepest emotional and moral issues of its life-and-death setting." During the seventh season, NBC announced that it would not renew the show. Shortly after the seventh season finale, ABC announced that it had picked up the series for a new season and on January 6, 2009, the eighth season of Scrubs premiered on ABC. The ninth season, which premiered on December 1, 2009 on ABC, features several new cast members and is set at a new facility. On May 14, 2010, ABC announced it had officially canceled Scrubs.

"As you'll probably guess my best liked character is Dr.Cox.His rants are legendary and sometimes I still can't choose between House or Cox.Cox is practically a ruged,non-limping,extroverted,cockier version of House.Everybody sees them as heartless bastards who enjoy demeaning their coworkers.I see them as brilliant,outspoken,no-nonsense,funny and overall amazing characters. If Cox were a real life person I'd send him a lot*A LOT* of flowers.Or maybe whiskey cause I bet he'd give the flowers to JD"
"WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD
The Story: Scrubs ran for 8 seasons (proper seasons, that is), and is about a young medical intern, JD, who prospers at his job, learns stuff about life, makes friends, and so on.
The Boohoo Moment: This is a TV show, and it has a number of episodes that are powerful. But the most notable tear-jerking moment is the season 8 finale. I've embedded the video below for you to watch. When I saw this for the first time, I cried like a baby.

Neil Flynn as the Janitor,
Neil Flynn, who plays Janitor, has said:
"I think it's possible that he doesn't hate J.D. Maybe J.D. is as close to a friend as he has. For all we know, he just has poor social skills. I think that the Janitor constantly misreads J.D.'s motives and assumes he's a young punk." "
"
Michael "J.D." Dorian and Dr. Perry Cox
J.D and his mentor Dr. Cox have one of the unusual relationship. Dr. Cox has shown concern for J.D.'s welfare, such as telling him not to blame himself for a patient's death comforting him when his father dies. When J.D decides to leave the hospital, Dr. Cox finally admits that he considers J.D. a talented doctor, a good person, and a friend, although he has to be tricked to do it. He refuses to say this directly to J.D, or hug him."
