QI approaches the panel quiz-show format from a whole new angle. Hosted by the flamboyant know-it-all, Stephen Fry, contestants are awarded points, not for necessarily knowing the correct answers to a fiendishly difficult question, but by being the most interesting and having the greatest knowledge of miscellaneous facts regarding the topic at hand. Furthermore, contestants are routinely berated if they slip into the traps set out by the quiz-master by answering a question with a popular notion, or old-wives tale that despite popular belief, isn't actually true. It's a real eye opener of a show and if knowledge is your game, I'd definitely recommend watching it, because you pick up a lot of miscellaneous trivia and rebuttals to common misconceptions often banded around by others as gos...Read more

Ultimate British Comedy

If you lined up all the British folk in the world, and then had to pick the funniest ones, these would be the people you would expect to see in an episode of QI. Sure sometimes a bad one slips through the cracks, Joe Brand for example, but if she didnt the feminists would be up in arms, and we've already suffered them enough throughout the early 20th century to want to go through it all again. Anyway the show takes the guise of a quiz show, each topic being "Quite Interesting" hence QI. It is hosted by one of the greatest men alive, Stephen Fry who uses his massive brain power to educate the viewers whilst at the same time the "contestants" who just so happen to be marvelous comedians, make you laugh out loud like a buffoon.
