“A very good adaptation of Earl Stanley Gardner's books. Raymond Burr is excellent as the unflappable Perry Mason with a knack for courtroom wizardry and for pulling rabbits out of a hat when the situation seems hopeless. Great supporting cast with the delectable Barbara Hale as Della Street, William Hopper as Paul Drake and Ray Collins as Lt. Tragg (although Collins made Tragg seem older than in the books). Raymond Burr gained too much weight towards the end of the series which made it less appealing.” read more
