"The Jim Henson Company struck gold again with 'Muppet Babies', a cartoon series which imagined what the characters from 'The Muppet Show' might have been like as babies. The idea for the show stemmed from a dream sequence in the theatrical movie 'The Muppets Take Manhattan', in which Miss Piggy imagines what it would have been like to grow up with Kermit. This is significant, as it essentially establishes 'Muppet Babies' as a non-canonical, hypothetical imagining of the early days of the Muppet"
"f you ever wanted to use your imagination, but never knew how.The Muppet Babies can teach you a few things. That was the thing about the Muppet Babies it was a good show that wasn’t too preachy.Muppet Babies is a spinoff of The Muppets Take Manhattan which is a spinoff of The Muppet Show (crazy right). Now the Muppets are kids in a nursery ran by a faceless nanny.Who knows how the hell they got there, but who cares. It was a great show.My only question is what happened to Skeeter."
