Mighty Morphin Power Rangers (1993)

There was such a big deal made about power rangers when it came out in the UK, adverts for weeks before its pilot episode, loads of attention given to it, and when it began it was mostly warranted! The theme tune went to number 1 in the charts, the toys were the "most wanted" in all good stores, and every game at school was Power Rangers or an argument over who got to be Red/Green/White. The characters were all classic, it wasn't greatly acted but a lot of effort went into it, all the monsters and bad guys actually cost money to make and it was considered a real tv show worth watching.
