2 votes This is a great show, and one of the best survival shows out there. You learn about all of the things to do (and not to do) when you're in the jungle... or the desert... or the arctic... It's amazing to watch him do what he does best. He's amazing at surviving, and it's all about what he knows. But I wonder about the camera work. He has a crew with him, and I wonder about how they g... read more Review5 years, 6 months ago at Nov 23 21:37
2 votes I was really into this one until it came out that he had cheated in some instances, even sleeping in a hotel some of those nights he was supposedly roughing it in the wild. Anyway, I always wondered since he had that crew with him. Now I watch Survivorman, and I like the fact that he explains survival skills along with how he does the show. yord's Favorite TV Shows (25 tv items)"I love the near insanity offered by this show, with Bear Grylls--the manliest of men--puts his life at risk to show you what to do in case you were ever in such a scenario. However unlikely said scenario may be, they are always a blast to watch." 4Gypsies added this to a list 1 year, 10 months ago

“My husband and 2 boys (14 & 11) just finished season 1. MY BOYS REALLY LOVED IT and were always asking when the next disc was coming. My husband also enjoyed it, but not as much as the boys. I liked the fact that the LANGUAGE WAS CLEAN. I would say that if I had girls I wouldn't let them watch it b/c Bear Grylls strips down in many of the episodes to briefly bathe or for some other survival related reason. Private parts are blurred out and the scenes only tend to last seconds, but I thought it was worth mentioning b/c it's something that I'd like to know ahead of time. This review is for Season 1 only. We have not yet watched Season 2.” read more Nogeloo added this to a list 3 years ago
