Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman (often called Lois & Clark) was a live-action American television series based on the Superman comic books. It was advertised simply as "The New Adventures of Superman" in the United Kingdom (with the episodes having altered opening credits when aired on the BBC, though not on later Sky One or ITV2 repeats) — non-US audiences were not expected to understand the joking reference to Lewis and Clark — but should not be confused with the 1966 Filmation animated series The New Adventures of Superman.
Lois & Clark aired on ABC from September 12, 1993 to June 14, 1997, and starred Dean Cain as Superman/Clark Kent, Teri Hatcher as Lois Lane and John Shea as Lex Luthor. The series generally followed comic book writer John Byrne's 1986 revamping of the Superman mythos, with Clark Kent as the true personality, and Superman the secret identity. As the title suggests, it focused as much on the relationship between Clark Kent and Lois Lane as on the adventures of Clark's alter-ego. As Clark attempts to explain to Lois, in the Season 2 episode "Tempus Fugitive", "Superman is what I can do. Clark is who I am."... (more)(less)

"Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman was a great show abiut Superman. This show only lasted 4 seasons. I think the show could of introduce a season with General Zod and Doomsday as the main villains."

"Lois Lane & Clark Kent/Superman
Unlike Smallville's Lois and Clark. In the TV series Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman they seem to be an unusual couple. Dean Cain's Clark Kent is much older than the Smallville one and he is Superman. With glasses and bad hair, Clark seems to get a woman like Lois Lane who is curious, noisy and also loves Superman. They eventually become a couple and she also discovers Superman is Clark Kent."
"I was a Superman fan since I was a kid. I loved the Christopher Reeve films, but I was also into the series 'Lois & Clark'. Dean Cain and Terri Hatcher worked really well together. Cain really had the right look for Superman.

Most people who know me know that I'm a Lois Lane fan. I love her in all her forms, and this version was a great one. Dana Delany's voice suited her so well.
