There, he is working for Manchester and Salford Police CID as a DI under DCI Gene Hunt (played by Philip Glenister). Over the course of the series, Tyler faces various culture clashes, most frequently regarding differences in his seemingly naïve approach to policing compared to that of his colleagues. Life on mars!
Rating : 9/10
Life on Mars?
Every story was tinged with stereotypes and embarrasing scenes which made me ashamed to be English. I can't believe we came up with something so bad. The lead character is a tosser as well. This is like watching all the embarassing bits of a Dr Who episode (like the string hanging from the monsters or the cheap and ineffective CGI) compiled into one thirty minute slot. Only that would be less cringe-worthy.

Donnie Darko TV
Take a generic time travel idea and mix in taboos and a poor cast and this is exactly what you get on Mars.
It tries to be intelligent, it tries to be funny but I feel nothing but shame. Ashes to Ashes should never see the light of day.
