When I first sat down to watch Jeeves and Wooster I was astounded, this had to be the best TV show ever!
If you haven't seen any of the episodes, please do yourself a favor and WATCH THEM!!!

The only thing I found wrong with J&W, is halfway through the season they switched out actors for Bingo and Gussie; the old ones were tons better.

It's a pity only 4 sea... read more

A wonderful adaptation indeed of the master's best known books. Hugh Laurie is an inspired casting and quite spot on as the bumbling and ever befuddled Bertram Wilberforce Wooster. Stephen Fry handles the character of Jeeves quite well, given his terrific thespian skills, but I have to say he isn't quite the perfect Jeeves. Stephen Fry handles the character of Jeeves quite well, given his terrific thespian skills, but I have to say he isn't quite the perfect Jeeves. After all, Jeeves shows his emotions very infrequently and even then only by the mere twitch of his left eyebrow, where as Fry's characterization shows more facial expression. But the casting of the other characters is exceptional (John Woodnutt as Sir Watkyn Bassett, Mary Wimbush as Aunt Agatha "she who would feed on her young at full moon", John Turner as Roderick Spode, Richard Briane as Gussie Fink Nottle). Add to this the typical British production values and you g” read more

"Love that cow creamer episode! This show is delightfully daffy, and the two leads are played to perfection by Hugh Laurie and Stephen Fry."
